Sabah kept their slim hopes alive in the Malaysia Cup competition when they defeated Police 2-0 in a Group D match played at the Tawau Stadium last Saturday night.
It sure was a morale boosting win for the Rhinos when they picked up their first win after having lost to Selangor (0-1) and Kuala Muda Naza FC (1-2).
Zackiel Leong put the homesters infront when he converted a penalty with "CR style" at the stroke of half-time while Mohd Farid Saiban sealed the the three points for the East Malaysian side with the second goal of the match four minutes from time.
I watch the match from the Stadium benches with Edward, McManus, Brennen and a guy - McManus's friend but I don't know his name though... Sabah played very well but the finishing still got problem as they shown the same performance in the last match here against Selangor.
Hopefully, Sabah will get a point from Selangor today at Shah Alam Stadium.
Unfortunately for me, I got a ticket from JPJ for parking on the side of the road.
I have gone to JPJ today and the ticket was settled. Luckily it was just a warning and they took my details for record.
REMARKS: Tonight match is very crucial for Sabah!!! May Sabah proceed to the 2nd stage...
